Sidewinder sem var hér í fréttum í Desember komst aldrei í framleiðslu. En nú fékk ég póst um nýtt framleiðslunafn sem er Switchblade, og fyrir hvaða hjól þetta verður framleitt í fyrstu atrennu. Switchblade á að vera klárt í sölu fyrir næsta vetur og verðin verða á hreinu fljótlega. Hér er pósturinn á ensku :

The wait is almost over! 2Moto, Inc. is announcing our new “Switchblade” Snowbike Conversion Kit. The Switchblade will replace the SideWinder (which never made it into production), and is scheduled for launch into production this coming summer. First Switchblade kits will be shipped in late autumn – in time for the 2005/2006 snow season. The Switchblade boasts several improvements over the SideWinder, including a 5-inch longer track footprint for improved floatation in soft and powder snow, improved suspension and track weighting, and a much cleaner, more streamlined look. We anticipate that you will like it!

We will start accepting orders for fall and winter deliveries of Switchblade conversion kits in the very-near future. We do not yet have final pricing for the Switchblade conversion kits and accessories, but will be posting these on the 2Moto website (www.2moto.net) within the next couple of weeks, and will then be accepting orders. We will send you an email with that same information at that time. Production capacity for this first production year will be limited, and we expect that demand will far exceed supply. If you want to buy a Switchblade kit for your bike this year, you will need to get your order in early. The motorcycle brands and models planned for our first year production include:

· Honda CRF450, CRF450X, CR250 (2005 and recent year models)

· Yamaha YZ450F, WR450F, and YZ250 (2005 and recent year models)

· KTM RFS Models (400, 450, 520 & 525 – incl. EXC, MXC and SX models)

· Kawasaki KX500 (1989 to 2004), KX250 (2005 and recent year models)

We will be expanding our dirt bike brand and model offerings over the next few years. We are sorry if we’ve missed your bike. Let us know what you want to mount a Switchblade to, and we will listen to the numbers.
