Ég fékk tölvupóst í gærmorgun frá einhverjum snillingi sem hafði

„mikinn áhuga“ á að kaupa hjólið mitt. Hann vissi reyndar ekki hvaða hjól en var samt rosa áhugasamur um eitthvert hjól, helst sport, eða dirt og líka spliff-hjól og verðið var aukaatriði! Right!  Sumsagt, hér var einhver svikahrappur á ferð sem vissi ekkert um mótorhjól.

Fréttablaðið birti frásögn nýlega um svipað dæmi og kvikindið er greinilega enn að. Þarna var sem sagt svikahrappur á ferð sem reynir allt til að reyna að kaupa eitthvað af fólki og hafa svo af því fé með því að senda tilkynningu að hafa greitt of háa upphæð og að seljandinn verði að millifæra mismuninn til baka svo salan geti farið fram.  Í eftirfarandi samskiptum sést hvað þetta lið er ótrúlega vitlaust en um leið fjandi útsmogið að stæla tölvupósta frá PayPal. Ég fékk jafnvel póst frá „starfsmanni PayPal“ í gegnum fake-tölvupóstaddressu. Eftirfarandi póstar lýsa þessu ágætlega – góðar stundir í lestrinum og varið ykkur á erlendum kauptilboðum sem virðast of góð til að geta verið sönn!

I think the easiest way to pay is through pay pal, i know they are reliable and secure and i usually find this the most efficient method.

That’s too bad since I haven’t received the money yet , no money = no bike ! 🙁
Þegar hér var komið sögu gafst ég upp á þessu rugli og sendi tilkynningu á Hotmail, PayPal og Gmail um þennan snilling og vona að þeir hafi amk. lokað á emailin og rakið IP-töluna hans og stoppað hann í frekari svikum.

Þetta var auðvitað stórskemmtilegt allt saman EN grínlaust þá er þetta verulega ágengt lið og án efa eru einhverjir að falla í þessa gryfju senda þessum fávitum peninga. Mig langaði því að deila þessum samskiptum með ykkur og vona að enginn hér á landi falli fyrir þessum svikahröppum. Góða helgi.

 

Ps. ég er enn að fá pósta frá snillingnum – nú er hann farinn að prútta 1.200 dollara niður til að reyna að ná einhverju af mér. :))
